Liesel is a woman that has short messy pink hair and blue eyes. She wears a white pilot suit; the chest piece appears to have a stylized version of the BLADE logo on it. When piloting the Hraesvelg, she wears a massive spherical helmet with a face resembling golden eyes and a jagged mouth.

Character Bio[edit]

A test pilot hired by an arms manufacturer, Liesel was involved in the development of Hraesvelg, a new Skell. Once a member of the German air force, she approaches things coolly—but beneath is a warm and caring person.

Battle Style[edit]

Liesel uses a unique style based on the Partisan Eagle, proving equally as capable in melee as she is in a Skell.

Story arc[edit]

New Skell on the Block[edit]

Liesel comes under attack from indigens while testing a new Skell being developed by Grenada Galactic Group, the Hraesvelg. The Hraesvelg is damaged during the fight, and Liesel asks Cross to gather the materials to repair it while she stays with the classified Hraesvelg design. Liesel comments that the Hraesvelg shouldn't still have such a glaring defect when it's days from release.

The group returns to NLA, where Liesel is scolded by her close friend Alicia, an engineer from Grenada Galactic Group, who was worried about Liesel. Their boss, Kelemen, calls them in to work. Kelemen scolds Liesel for damaging the Hraesvelg so soon before release. Liesel and Alicia argue that it was necessary as the defect found could cause serious issues, but Kelemen says the defect won't be noted on the official report as it could cut into profits, and dismisses them.

Liesel apologizes to Cross and explains that the Hraesvelg started development on Earth with a different chief engineer and test pilot, and was a passion project until Kelemen was put in charge. Liesel and Alicia came to the forefront of the project after the former test pilot's death during a test flight and the former chief engineer's subsequent suicide.

Liesel is concerned Alicia is pushing herself too hard and says she needs a break, and takes the Hraesvelg outside so they can look at the view. Alicia remarks that she didn't know what she was missing as she left all the test flights to Liesel. Liesel says they must stick to their convictions, no matter what Kelemen says.

Thinking Makes It So[edit]

Liesel asks Cross for help determining the issue in the unique flight module for the Hraesvelg that's being developed. Kelemen berates Liesel and Alicia for consulting an outsider, calling it "impertinence", and orders Alicia to return to work. Liesel tries to stand up for Alicia, but is shut down as Alicia runs off.

Liesel tracks Alicia's comm device to find her. She asks Alicia to tell her when she needs a break and recommends she slow down. Alicia reveals what's actually bothering her is her culpability in Kelemen’s crimes; important safety features in the Hraesvelg won't be implemented to cut costs, and the past Hraesvelg team’s deaths were the result of similar issues and a staged suicide. Liesel feels betrayed but she's glad Alicia is still alive. Alicia offers to turn over evidence of her and Kelemen’s crimes. Kelemen shows up in a Hraesvelg Robus and threatens to kill everyone to prevent his crimes from being revealed. After he's defeated, Liesel decides to hand over the evidence to the authorities.

A few days later, Liesel shows off the completed Hraesvelg to Cross. She reveals that she and Alicia have quit Grenada Galactic Group and are starting their own company.
