Last Battle is Disc 2, Track 17 on the Xenosaga Original Soundtrack and Disc 2, Track 26 on the Xenosaga Episode I album. The melody at 1:00 is taken from Gnosis, and the main accompaniment line is taken from One Who Bares Fangs at God from the Xenogears Original Soundtrack.
It is the final boss theme of Xenosaga Episode I, playing in the battle against Sophie Peithos.

Official translation
As much as possible, I tried to leave the way the numerous short minimalistic phrases fly about in the original piece in the piano arrangement as well. However, as long as it is a solo piece, no matter what you do there is a limit to the number of phrases that can be played at the same time (how many times I have wished I had another arm...!). I wrote this arrangement while meticulously experimenting with how to mix the phrases (and while trying to figure out if it was physically possible to play or not). Using trial and error with what I thought might be cool resulted in a very difficult arrangement to perform...!

ミニマル音楽特有の、複数の短いフレーズが飛び交うような雰囲気をピアノに出したく試みました。ただ同時に弾けるフレーズには限りがあるので(何度もう一本腕が欲しいと思ったことか……………!)、綿密にフレーズをどう練り混ぜようか、そして弾ける曲にするにはどうすればいいか、試しながら書きました。試行錯誤の末、なんとまぁ難易度の高い曲になってしまいました･･････!
