Ictus is one of Corvin's Battle Skills in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Overview[edit]
With enough enemies aggroed, which is not difficult because Corvin does real damage, it is possible to loop an evasion art (which Corvin provides to all Drivers) into itself infinitely. This is especially notable with Zeke, as his such art (Galactic Strike) hits all around him and thus helps keep the aggro of all said enemies rather than just one. It should be restated because it is that crazy: A tank has the ability to loop perfect evasion forever. It's not truly "forever" because there are other party members beating on them, but in theory they won't be using arts as frequently as the person who's constantly cancelling the evasion art into itself.
Technically this recharges all arts, so it's not the evasion art specifically that must be spammed, but realistically that's The Use Case. It would be difficult to get enough evades with any other art to fully recharge it for a cancel loop.
