Hostile Colony (Dynamic) is Disc 2, Track 14 on the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Original Soundtrack and Disc 13, Track 14 on the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box. Hostile Colony is a version of this track with substantially more instrumentation.

It plays as the area theme in the following instances, often including the preceding cutscenes:

The track smoothly transitions into the equivalent point in Hostile Colony when battle starts, and is smoothly transitioned back into once battle concludes.

It also plays in the cutscenes when the party finds, loses, and then re-finds the Basreek Feris during Second Day of Prison.

Finally, it plays if the following bosses defeat the party, until battle is re-engaged:

「Hostile Colony」 に対してこちらはメロディを前面に出さずアンビエンス系シンセサイザーとリズム楽器主体 で仕上げました。 インタラクティブを想定して実験を重ね作っていったのですが、 実装後それを体験できたのは 発売後の皆さんと同じタイミング・・・・ 結果バッチリ仕上がっていて心の中でガッツポーズ! なおゲーム内で両曲 は同じ尺構成でシームレスに切り替わる形ですが、 こちらのサントラバージョンは若干コンパクトに編集されてい ます。

Trivia[edit]

  • In early versions of the game, the transition to Hostile Colony was not smooth in the Chapter 2 instance for the first battle after the cutscene near Bennel Cave Camp. This was patched in release 1.2.1.
