Hard Life is a Heart-to-Heart in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It can be found on top of the windmill in Tretl Windmill Plaza in Torigoth, Gormott Province. Staying at the Coedwig Inn before viewing this Heart-to-Heart may trigger additional dialogue pointing to its location.

The two are looking at the town from atop the windmill.

It's quite a tough life here. A lot of folks are struggling.
