昼もあたたかみのある曲調だったのですが、夜はそこに更に安らぎを感じられるようなイメージで制作しました。あたたかい宿のベッドで、窓の外にはクジラの背中越しに瞬く星々……まるで子守唄のような室屋光一郎くんのソロ・ヴァイオリンの音色が戦いに疲れたレックス達を優しく包み込んで、そのまま夢の世界に。そしてまた朝を迎え、一目が始まる……そんな一連のシーンにピッタリくる昼と夜曲に仕上がりました。
