Fornis Region
The Fornis Region is a region in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. While the north is mostly dry wasteland and desert, the dry area gives way to greener grasslands and high plateaus.

Geography[edit]
The north of the Fornis Region, which connects to the Aetia Region, features a split between two paths. The southern path leads to Eagus Wilderness and Colony 4, while the western path leads to Elaice Highway and Colony Iota. Bridging the two are the remains of the colossal Fallen Arm of the Mechonis, which can be climbed from Elaice Highway. Said highway also contains the entrance to the underground Torus Hollow.
At Zem's Crossway, the southern point of the Eagus Wilderness, each cardinal direction goes to a different area. The western path leads to Colony Iota's south entrance. To the east is the entrance to Dannagh Desert, which extends parallel to Eagus Wilderness far to the north. Along the border between Dannagh Desert and Eagus Wilderness is a large hill, the Klondos Table, which hides the Sage's Domicile; this can be accessed by approaching the domicile's mountain from the southeast and heading into and through the hidden Milio Trick Caverns.
South of Zem's Crossway is the Ribbi Flats, a remarkably non-flat area which hosts both Colony 30 and Llyn Nyddwr, the latter of which has the portal to the Land of Challenge. Farther south still is the Rae-Bel Tableland, which covers the southern section of the region. The tableland's south and southeast both lead to the Pentelas Region; the south is the entrance to the Urayan Tunnels, whereas the southeast path leads instead to the Urayan Trail.
