Flashback is Disc 5, Track 10 on the Xenoblade2 Original Soundtrack and Disc 10, Track 10 on the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box.

It plays during the fights against phantasms of Nia, Mòrag, and Zeke and Tora in the First Low Orbit Station. It also plays in the following cutscenes:

回想シーン用の曲で精神的な心象表現、疑惑がテーマでした。心臓の鼓動を感じる音を入れつつ、実は音数がたくさん入っています。後半はギターを入れて、疑惑が現実になりそうな、示唆的な曲になるといいなと思い作ってみました。みなさんは疑惑な心情の時どんな音が鳴っていますか？ 疑惑って嫌ですよね。その心情の時って何をやっていても耳鳴りのように頭の片隅にその疑惑が残っていたりしてね……。
