A repaired Ether Mast

Ether Masts are an element of the overworld in Future Redeemed. The party can construct them using Field Crafting. Once they are built, points of interest show up on the minimap and area map as a question mark (marked "Unknown Mast Signal") until they have been seen, at which point the question mark is replaced by an icon of the point of interest. This allows the party to more easily find items and key locations when exploring.

Constructing Ether Masts counts towards the Field Crafting Affinity Goal in each region.

Ether Masts may display points which do not have the relevant entity of interest yet, due to story conditions or otherwise (e.g. the spawnpoints of unique monsters which do not spawn until later in the story). If so, the question mark is dimmer than normal.
