Environmental music (XC2)
The following is a list of the music tracks in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country that are counted as 'Environment' as opposed to 'Game BGM' in the sound settings; as such, they do not override the in-game background music. All are apparently played in-universe, and none have been released on any soundtrack or sound selection. As such, not much is known about any of the following tracks, including their composers.
Torigoth Busker's Song[edit]
Torigoth Busker's Song is a track in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It plays in Torigoth by the northern wall of west Obra Street during the day, apparently played in-universe by a Nopon on a recorder-like instrument (possibly a Whispercorder).
Alba Cavanich Busker's Song[edit]
Alba Cavanich Busker's Song is a track in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It plays in Alba Cavanich by the Adelno Music instruments shop. It is apparently played in-universe by a Gormotti man on a cello-like instrument (possibly a Rumble Cello) during the day; at night (before midnight), the man is joined by two Nopon playing variations of the Torigoth Busker's Song.
It also plays in Fonsa Myma by Maluria Antiques, apparently played by an Urayan man on a similar cello-like instrument.
Auresco Busker's Song[edit]
Auresco Busker's Song, also unofficially called Guitar Girl, is a track in Torna ~ The Golden Country and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It plays in Auresco by Piper's instruments shop in the Formide Shopping Ward. It is apparently played in-universe by a child on a lute-like instrument, a Torigonda.
It also plays in Torigoth by the northern wall of east Obra Street during the day, apparently played in-universe by two Gormotti playing a lute-like and cello-like instrument.
Kiara's Song[edit]
- Main article: Kiara's Song
Kiara's Song is a song in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country. The travelling performers Leo, with a Torigonda, and Azzarn, with a Tornan Viella, play this song in Lascham Cove in Gormott, and later at the Sachsum Gardens in Auresco.
Before Chapter 9, it also plays at Anangham #2 Dock in Mor Ardain during the day, apparently played by a Gormotti on a lute-like instrument and accompanied (inaudibly) by a Nopon on a recorder-like instrument.
