Element of Surprise is the fifth skill in Shulk's Intuition skill branch. It adds more damage to arts such as Back Slash when their from-behind effect triggers.
Overview[edit]
While the exact effect is unspecified in-game, the skill adds an extra +100% damage (e.g. 2x becomes 3x, and 3x becomes 4x). This is generally beneficial for anyone that has a relevant art, but the extra aggro generated will have to be compensated for.
