Eagus Wilderness is an area in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It features a desert and mountainous terrain. Annihilation events frequently occur here.
The remains of the fingers from the Mechonis's fallen arm can be found here.
Geography[edit]
The Eagus Wilderness is mostly rocky; vegetation is largely limited to small shrubs and strange trees with large orange leaves. Large mountains border the landscape, many of which have been chewed away by the annihilation effect. The air is hot and dry, and the dirt "finer than Ruska Flour"[1], though natural oases form in some regions.
The north section of the wilderness, Reith Valley, splits three ways. North leads to the Aetia Region, west to Elaice Highway, and south to the remainder of the wilderness. This latter path passes under Menno Arch, leading to the open Piento Basin. The skyline here is dominated by the Wall of the Great Hand and, to the south, Colony 4's Ferronis. A path to the east of Galghour's Menhir provides a shortcut to Dannagh Desert, but only if the Scree Walking traversal skill has been unlocked.
Further south is Racine's Platter, which contains Colony 4 after Chapter 2 is completed. Lake Rezzento and the Lake Rezzento Camp can be found to the west, as well as the arcing Bennel Cave system between the Gorge of Odie and Hegemon's Seat. Yet further south is Nih'l Valley and Zem's Crossway, which becomes the Ribbi Flats to the south and leads through Dies Arch to Colony Iota to the west.
