Doom is a debuff in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. A doomed combatant will automatically die once the debuff's duration expires, if the debuff is not removed and there is no incapacitation-resisting effect in play.

In additional to ordinary sources of debuff resistance or nullification, Doom is automatically resisted if the target is of the Dark element. This means switching to a Dark Blade is a viable means of protection. Also, Drivers can prevent Doom using the accessories Seven-League Circlet (60-70%) and Fighter's Circlet (90-100%).

Doom can be avoided by being invincible when the debuff expires (due to a Chain Attack, level IV Special, or stage 3 Blade Combo). However, such sources of invincibility will not prevent Doom from being inflicted.
