The Director is a minor supporting character in the Xenosaga series. He is Shion Uzuki's boss at Vector Industries' First R&D Division.
Appearance and Personality[edit]
The Director is an adult man with dark hair, glasses, and a mustache. He wears a black and white Vector Industries uniform with white gloves. Despite appearing somewhat scatterbrained in his only in-game appearance, he's described as a sharp and competent person.
Story Arc[edit]
Episode I[edit]
The Director is first seen dragged into a U.M.N. call with Shion by Miyuki Itsumi. Shion complains to him about KOS-MOS being transferred to Vector's Second R&D Division on Second Miltia. Despite it being the original plan, Shion manages to convince him to allow her to keep her supervision over KOS-MOS.
Xenosaga I & II[edit]
Like in Episode I, the Director's only main story appearance is in a single call with Shion. However, he also makes a brief appearance in Shion's first side story, where he appoints her as the new Chief of the KOS-MOS Project following Kevin Winnicot's death. In the Episode II segment, several characters on the Dämmerung mention the Director when Shion receives orders to visit his office. Later on, Shion mentions that the Director called her into his office to inform her that she would be transferred to newly built offices for the Third R&D Division on Fifth Jerusalem.
