Dannagh Desert is an area in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It comprises the northwestern section of the Fornis Region.
Geography[edit]
Dannagh Desert is, unsurprisingly, a desert covered in light-coloured sands. Grasses are scarce, but colourful trees and plants of varying sizes can be found, especially around rockier parts of the map. High rocky hills form a natural border with Eagus Wilderness on the desert's west, and the east drops off into the Great Sea.
The entrance to the desert is at its south at the Great Idalla Ravine, which lies between the Eagus Wilderness border hills and the Ribbi Flats. Ypsil Hill and Namba Mound form the southernmost and next-southernmost areas of the desert respectively, with the latter featuring a large sinkhole. North is the Zell Quicksands and the Raptor Perch, flanked by twin arches, one of which hides an entrance to the Milio Trick Caverns. Said caverns wind their way through the hills until they reach the Sage's Garden and the Sage's Domicile. Above the entrance to the Trick Caverns is Limoux Hill, with the Dougis Quicksands and Fetos Sandgarden yet further north. More quicksand basins dot the northern section of the area: the Devil's Skillet near Zorza's Stonehammer, the Quicksand Basin, and the Alefa Skysphere. The desert's eastern border consists of the Apex Wing, featuring the Desert Ferronis Hulk, The Blue Bluffs, and Bulik Brae to the north, with Ecto Hollow tucked away along the eastern edge. Finally, the very north of the desert hides Serrato Spring.
The hills bordering the Eagus Wilderness are traversible. Besides containing the Milio Trick Caverns and Sage's Domicile, they can be climbed to reach the Klondos Table, with its Glam Rock and Peshris Fountain landmarks.
Story[edit]
Future Redeemed[edit]
The Founders and N find themselves there after defeating Alpha and Origin destroys the Cent-Omnia Region. There they part ways, but not before warning the Founders that Moebius will guard the endless now to their deaths.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3[edit]
While both its connecting areas (Eagus Wilderness and Ribbi Flats) are visited by the main party during the main story, Dannagh Desert is not, only being required during Quests. Most notably, the party meets Ino here during the Hero Quest Champion of the Nopon, as well as exploring the north end during the events of Segiri's Ascension Quest Invisible Bond.
