Quest objectives[edit]

Results[edit]

"Looking at the restored tablet, it's clear that the previous Tantalese town was on the drifts. No use to Dagas..."

Dialogue[edit]

Dagas
Ah, is this a stone tablet? It does not seem all that old.
Mòrag
The people of Tantal once made their dwellings among the Genbu Drifts.
Therein lay...
Dagas
"Therein lay"...? Therein lay what?
Mòrag
I'm afraid that sentence has no conclusion.
Dagas
No conclusion? What do you mean?
Mòrag
A piece of the stone tablet is missing, so the sentence is unfinished.
Nia
Then if we want to know the full story, we have to find the missing piece?
Mòrag
Apparently the proprietor found this tablet around the Genbu Drifts area.
Nia
What d'you think , Dagas?
Dagas
Need you even ask?
"Kingly" Demeanor activates.
Dagas
We must search far and wide for as many missing pieces as it takes!
And then of course we will return here to examine the completed tablet. Is that understood, my retainers?
Mòrag
Haha... As you wish, Your Majesty.

Assemble the tablet's fragments[edit]

Dagas
Well? Is the tablet restored?
Nia
Yep... The four pieces together together perfectly.
Zeke
Let's have a looksee then...
"Therein lay a mighty lake and a temple housing technology of the ancients."
"But with the Titan's decline, dangerous monsters began to roam these drifts."
"To avoid these monsters, the people made use of the land's great pillars to build new dwellings."
"Yet now, as the snows grow stronger and deeper, we are forced to retreat still further to ever higher ground."
"If we do not solve this problem soon, all of Tantal may become unlivable..."
Dagas
...That is all it says?
Zeke
That's your lot. Looks like some kind of investigation report.
Dagas
Then this line of enquiry was a dead end...
Rex
Don't look so down, Dagas!
Dagas
Hmph. You need not coddle me.
Instead of wasting time here, we should search for another lead!
