Cherenkov's wife is a minor character in Xenosaga Episode I. She is the wife and lawyer of Andrew Cherenkov.

The woman is an abusive spouse, marrying Cherenkov, not out of love, but as an excuse to get a cloning permit, rather than reproduce naturally. She also looks down on Life Recycling Variants.
Story arc[edit]
She served as Andrew Cherenkov's lawyer during his trial and persuades the courts to sentence him to Level 7 Personality Reconditioning, rather than execute him, citing the reason that he is a victim of the Life Recycling Act. After the trial, the two married, only as an excuse to clone herself, rather than reproduce naturally, due to what she perceives Cherenkov's DNA abnormal. Upon learning this, Cherenkov is furious and in a fit of rage, murdered her and thus Cherenkov is again, put on trial and sentenced to Level 8 Personality Reconditioning for the murder of his wife. This stripped him of his human rights and is given the same rights as a Realian.
