Biography[edit]
CAnON. is the daughter of Kenji Yamamoto, a composer and arranger that has contributed to Dragon Ball, Tokimeki Memorial, and many more famous works (he is not the Kenji Yamamoto that composes for the Metroid series).[1]
CAnON. studied in the Tokyo Metropolitan Ogasawara High School.[2] While taking Environment and Information Studies at the Keio University, she did street dance and composed music as a hobby. Around 2003 and 2006, she released her first song, and decided to become a professional. In 2013 she collaborated with Hiroyuki Sawano for the first time for his album UnChild (where mpi collaborated too), becoming part of the SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] project.
