Albedo is Disc 2, Track 14 on the Xenosaga Original Soundtrack and Disc 2, Track 24 on the Xenosaga Episode I album.
It plays in the following cutscenes:
- Albedo first speaks with MOMO in the Song of Nephilim while dismembering himself.
- Jr. confronts Albedo in the Song of Nephilim.
- Jr. almost unleashes his powers against Albedo after the Simeon battle.
The track's vocals were sampled for the unused battleland#2 from the music of Xenosaga Episode III.

Official translation
Upon arranging this piece, I kept in mind the character's insane and mysterious side, to which I added a somewhat melancholic touch. I'd be happy if you could lend your ears to the climatic buildup towards the end, as well as the progression of chromatic thirds at around 3 minutes which portrays the character's insanity and sense of mystery.

キャラクターの狂気的な雰囲気やミステリアスな感じを意識しつつ、 どこかメランコリーな要素をプラスしてアレンジしました。 注目していただきたいポイントは、終盤に向けての盛り上がりの他、 3分あたりの三度ずつの半音階進行のフレーズでは、特に狂気さとミステリアスさを意識し表現しましたので、注目してきいていただけると幸いです。
