It plays during both phases of the final boss of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, as well as in the second phase of the Malos fight at The Soaring Rostrum in Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country.

高橋総監督より提示頂いた「進退窮まり、自身の存在意義を求めつつも、戦うことでしか自分を表現できない者の哀しさ」というイメージで書き上げた曲です。サビでは哀しみを帯びつつ強さのあるメロディで「己の身体が崩れ去りながらも、強い意志を持って立ちはだかる孤高の男」を表現しました！　実はお蔵入りとなった曲があり、そちらは主人公目線で書いた曲でした。個人的にはそれもお気に入りだったので、そちらはまたいつかどこかで。
