The Aetia Region is a region in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It is mostly consists of grassland and forest area. It is the first region in the game.
Story[edit]
Chapter 1[edit]
The story of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 starts off during a battle between Colony 9 and Colony Sigma in Everblight Plain. Noah, Lanz, Eunie and Mwamba fight as soldiers of Colony 9 and ultimately succeed in defeating their Agnian adversary.
After returning to the Colony 9 base in the Yzana Plains, Naoh and his comrades are tasked with investigating and destroying an unknown source of ether in the Alfeto Valley.
This ether source turns out to be an Ouroboros Stone that is tranported by a squad from the City, lead by Guernica Vandham. Since the nearby Colony Gamma from Melnath's Shoulder recieved a similar mission, a fight between Kevesi troops, Agnian troops and the Lost Numbers breaks out. Ultimately, the few remaining soldiers are disrupted by the appearance of Moebius. By activating the Ouroboros Stone, Guernica releases Noah, Lanz, Eunie, Mio, Sena and Taion from their Flame Clocks and turns them into Ouroboros. By interlinking, Noah and Mio manage to fight off Moebius. With his last breath, Guernica tells the group that the fight between Keves and Agnus is just a distraction from their real enemy - Moebius, and that they should head towards the City at Swordmarch.
The Kevesi and Agnian trios try to return to their Colonies, but due to Moebius manipulating the Irises of their comrades, they are unrecognized and fought off. With nowhere left to go, the group of six soldiers descide to heed Guernica's last words and unite against Moebius with Swordmarch as their destination.
