Achievements are obtained by fulfilling various requirements in Xenoblade Chronicles X. Each Achievement completed awards the player with some Division Points in the Wii U version.

There are three types of achievements: Story, Combat, and World.

While most of these achievements can be achieved offline, some of them do require access to the Miiverse or online play. This means that on the Wii U version, achievements like "The New Reporter" and "You Tell 'Em!" have been unavailable since 7 November 2017, and all other online-related achievements have been unavailable since 8 April 2024. This also includes achievements like "The Geek", which requires Holofigures that can only be attained via online missions. The Definitive Edition version removes Miiverse-related and Division Support-related achievements, while adding extra achievements for the new characters and the new story content.

Most achievements are hidden to the player if they haven't completed them. However, while online in a Squad, other players will be able to see achievements once other members in the squad achieve them.
