A Spiritual Place (originally unofficially referred to as The Spiritual World) is Disc 2, Track 13 on the Xenoblade Original Soundtrack and Disc 4, Track 19 on the Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Original Soundtrack and the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box. The melody at 1:17 is also used in Ancient Mysteries.
It plays during these cutscenes:
- During Shulk's dream of Alvis before being ambushed by Arachnos in Tephra Cave in Chapter 3 (In the Definitive Edition, no music plays during this cutscene)
- During Shulk's and Alvis' conversation in Ose Tower on Valak Mountain in Chapter 10
- Shulk's dream of his childhood self before waking up on Wreckage Beach on the Fallen Arm in Chapter 12
- Alvis talking to Shulk in Memory Space after the battle against Jade Face in Mechonis Field in Chapter 14
- Shulk in Memory Space realizing that he has died in Chapter 17
- Shulk's and Alvis' conversation in Memory Space during the Telethia attack on Colony 6 in Chapter 17
- Zanza wondering why his visions don't reach any further in Chapter 17
