Rex’s party’s journey to Elysium is harsh, but although they are knocked down time and time again, they cling to a faint hope and keep moving forward. This piece is about Rex’s worries and uncertainty, the scars the journey has left on his heart, but I painstakingly wove a glimmer of hope into the melody and chords. The scenes where this piece is used are in part about Elysium, so I used the Elysium motif as well.
