Appearances Xenosaga Episode III

Ω (Omega) Metempsychosis is the ultimate form of the Omega superweapon in the Xenosaga series.

Appearance and description[edit]

Ω Metempsychosis resembles a humanoid mech with wings that has similar patterns to Deus from Xenogears, with two miniature mechs that resemble Weltall and Vierge connected on a wire to its hands.

Ω Metempsychosis is the ultimate configuration for Omega, formed once it absorbs the Zohar and reconstructs itself using the Y-Data. It is thought that it existed in a similar form during the Lost Jerusalem era and this is akin to it waking up from a long sleep. Ω Metempsychosis utilizes Abel within its control device as part of its functionality for drawing a higher dimensional power from the Zohar. Ω Metempsychosis is one of the Relics of God.

Story[edit]

After being defeated by the party on foot, Dmitri Yuriev merges with Ω Res Novae, transforming it into Ω Metempsychosis in a last ditch attempt to kill the party, but ultimately falls due to Albedo, now a Testament intervening, sending both Abel and the Zohar to Michtam and rendering Dmitri powerless. Ω Metempsychosis remains on board Abel's Ark for the rest of the game and later vanishes along with the Ark when chaos and Nephilim uses their power to transport Michtam to Lost Jerusalem.
