Sundel is a boss in Xenogears. It is fought in Deus.
Description[edit]
Sundel will target one specific Gear at the start of the battle and change its target at various points during the battle. Every time it is attacked, it will hit the targeted Gear with a counterattack. If the targeted Gear directly attacks it, it will launch a counterattack on the entire party. Sundel also has the ability to heal itself.
Sundel is one of the four pillars of Deus. By defeating it, Deus' ability to use healing is sealed and its HP is lowered.
